EMMET GOWIN
Date of birth: December 22, 1941
Origon of birth: Danville, Virginia
Gowin received a BFA in Graphic Design from the Richmond Professional Institute and an MFA for Photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. In 1967, he became a teacher for the Dayton Art Institute. In addition, Gowin's work has been displayed at a numerous amount of art exhibits such as the MoMA, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, and The Escape Photographie Marie de Paris.
