DOCUMENTARY PORTRAITURE

The magazine I chose is Rookie Mag. The whole site is contributed by creative teenagers, and there are online articles that feature specific teens. The features tend to include both environmental and professional portraits. They also make both videos and photos of teenagers in their bedrooms. I chose to document the activities and environment of Haley Peck, who is a musician and artist. 

 I know that this isn't a traditional studio portrait, but this is a very "rookie-esque"style portrait which is why I decided to include it as a cover photo.
